WENHAM – A man was airlifted to hospital after he crashed his motorcycle Sunday.

Police Chief Kevin DiNapoli and fire Chief Stephen Kavanagh said in a statement that the crash happened around 3:50 p.m. near 52 Grapevine Road.

No other vehicles appear to have been involved, they said.

“Wenham Police and Fire responded and found a single-vehicle motorcycle crash, with an adult male operator suffering from what appeared to be serious injuries,” the statement said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wenham Police Department.
